Bottle Cutting Inc. Pin it to Win (“Contest”)

From 1:00pm on October 24, 2014 PT to 11:00am on December 31, 2014 PT (“Contest Period”)

    To enter the Contest, visit the Bottle Cutting Inc. Facebook Page during the Contest Period.  Complete the official entry form available during the Contest Period, along with your name and the requested contact information, log into your Pinterest account, then choose your favourites and pin them.  Pinning is required to be entered to win!

To be valid, entries must be received by 11:00 a.m. December 31st, 2014 EDT.

Limit of one entry per email address, with an opportunity for 3 bonus entries if your shared link is shared again. If you attempt or are suspected of attempting to enter more than once, or use robotic, automatic, programmed or any entry methods not authorized by these rules, it shall be deemed as tampering and will void your entries.

Entry forms become the property of Bottle Cutting Inc. and will not be returned to you.


Contest is open to everyone and no purchase is required.


Each Friday, one from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be randomly chosen and awarded subject to meeting all the conditions described in these Rules.


An electronic gift card to be used on in the value of $100USD will be awarded once a week. One prize will be rewarded each week for the 10 weeks during the contest period for a total of 10 $100USD gift cards to be awarded in total.


General: Bottle Cutting Inc Pin it to Win (the “Contest”), invites entrants (each an “Entrant”, collectively, “Entrants,”) must read and agree to the following Official Contest rules (“Rules”). Participation in the Contest constitutes an Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of the Rules. Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified Entries received.   

Sponsor and Administrator:  The sponsor and administrator of this Contest is Bottle Cutting Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”, the “Contest Administrator”). 

5.1 The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited.

5.2 Refusal to accept the prize releases the Contest Parties from any obligation toward the winner.

5.3 If an Entrant makes any false statement, (s)he will be automatically disqualified from the Contest.

5.4 The Contest Parties assume no liability for any loss, damage or injury, including without limitation: (i) lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late, destroyed, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) loss, theft or damage to software or computer or telephone data, including any breach of privacy; (iii) fraudulent calls; (iv) inability of any person to participate in the Contest for any reason including mistaken addresses on mail or e-mail; technical, computer or telephone malfunctions or other problems with computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software; congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination of the foregoing; (v) damage to any person’s computer, including as a result of playing or downloading any material relating to the Contest; (vi) any delay or inability to act resulting from an event or situation beyond their control, including a strike, lockout or other labour dispute at their location or the locations of the organizations and businesses whose services are used to administer this Contest; or (vii) prizes that are lost, damaged or misdirected during shipping.

5.5 Information: Information collected from Entrants by the Contest Sponsor will only be used by the Contest Sponsor or its affiliates to administer the Contest and for internal analysis of participant demographics.  Neither the Contest Sponsor nor its affiliates will share this information with any third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest.  The Contest Sponsor will not attempt to contact the Entrant for any other purpose than to administer the Contest unless they have opted-in to receive relevant product-related email communications from the Contest Sponsor. 5.6 If the identity of an Entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e- mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the Entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that (s)he is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server.

5.7 Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, using any robotic, automatic programmed method that artificially increases the odds of winning or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified. Bottle Cutting Inc is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.

5.8 By entering, you agree to abide by the Contest rules and the decisions of Bottle Cutting Inc, Sponsors which decisions are final and binding on all Entrants.

5.9  All intellectual property, including, without limitation, all trade-marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned or licensed by the Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

5.10   Miscellaneous: The Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest.  The Contest Sponsor accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Contest or acceptance of a prize. The Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, falsified, tampered with, altered or destroyed entries and all such entries are void. In the event it is determined that an Entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the Entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the Entrant will be disqualified. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical, human or other error in the printing of Contest and/or collateral advertising materials, administration of the Contest, processing of the entries or in the announcement of the prizes or in any other materials or information associated with the Contest.  The Contest Sponsor will not be liable, and does not assume any responsibility, for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof.  The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive information by The Contest Sponsor on account of technical problems, or on account of traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof.

5.11 The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or suspend this Contest or to amend the Rules at any time and in any way, without prior notice.


Grant of License:  All Entrants acknowledge and agree that by entering the Contest, information is submitted on a non-confidential and non-proprietary basis and may be used by the Contest Sponsor, its affiliates and agents), including but not limited to advertising, recruiting, and promotional purposes.  Entrants further grant the above mentioned groups a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, which the Entrant has contributed to in any media now known or hereafter devised (including without limitation to the internet), without any compensation.  Further, by entering the Contest, Entrant grants Licensees the additional license to modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, and distribute the Entry or incorporate the Entry into any form, medium or technology, including the right, at each Licensee’s sole discretion, to publish the Entry and to use the Entry for any advertising, promotional and/or recruiting purposes.  Licensees shall not be required to designate entrants as the creators or authors of Entries that are distributed or otherwise exploited by Licensees, or include any references to entrants on, or in connection with, any Entries that are distributed or otherwise expexploited by the Licensees.
